Timeline
OneTeam was launched in late 2019 as a joint venture between NFLPA and MLBPA, since then OneTeam has added 6 additional PA partners and thousands of college athletes

Sean Sansiveri
CEO
As CEO of OneTeam, Sean C. Sansiveri is responsible for providing the vision and mission for OneTeam’s consortium of Player Associations, overseeing growth, PA relationships, financial management, team development, and more.
Prior to OneTeam, Sean held several senior leadership roles, including General Counsel & Head of Business Affairs with the NFL Players Association, where he directed the union’s health, safety and medical research initiatives for over a decade. These efforts resulted in the creation of the NFL’s first standardized protocol governing the evaluation and management of concussions, COVID-19 safety measures, and long-term research partnerships with Harvard Medical School, the Cleveland Clinic and the Dementia Discovery Fund. Sean also helped the NFLPA’s marketing and licensing business expand its market presence, launch new product lines and enter strategic partnerships, solidifying its position as one of the largest for-profit licensors in sports.
Prior to the NFLPA, Sean served as an Associated General Counsel with the AFL-CIO and the late President Trumka’s strategic campaign center which instilled in him the importance of athlete empowerment and collective action.

Frank Arthofer
President
Frank Arthofer is the President of OneTeam, leading revenue, marketing, content, business operations, IP partnerships, corporate strategy and growth. Prior to OneTeam, Frank was part of the executive team at Formula 1, where he worked for CEO Chase Carey, leading Digital Media, New Business and Consumer Products. Frank also leans on prior experience as a leader of Boston Consulting Group’s TMT and Sports Practice and at Disney and ESPN’s Media Networks groups in driving growth for OneTeam and unique commercial opportunities for OneTeam’s partners.

Melissa Betts
Chief Financial Officer
As Chief Financial Officer, Melissa is responsible for OneTeam’s financial operations, financial strategy and management including FP&A, accounting and corporate Development.
Melissa brings over nineteen years of sports industry experience working collaboratively with executive leadership teams to drive growth, prioritize investment strategies, create scale and maximize profitability. She spent the last five years in sports betting with private equity-backed growth startup The Action Network and then as U.S. CFO for Better Collective as part of the post-acquisition U.S. Management Team. Prior to her time in sports betting, Melissa was Director of Finance & Strategy at The Walt Disney Company/ESPN supporting the growth and expansion of the company’s digital media portfolio.

Tim Slavin
Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer
Tim is the Managing Director and Chief Legal Officer of OneTeam. One of its founding executives, he leads various initiatives to develop existing and new revenue opportunities, and manages company-wide legal matters.
Prior to his current position, Tim was the President of MLB Players, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the MLBPA. Tim has been recognized as a member of Sports Business Journal’s prestigious Forty Under 40. He was also featured in a leading sports magazine as a “rising executive helping to shape the next era of baseball business.” Tim started his legal career at the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC. Before joining the MLBPA, he was with the law firm of Simpson Thacher and Bartlett, practicing out of its New York and Hong Kong offices.

Ricky Medina
Consumer Products
Ricky Medina leads OneTeam’s Consumer Products department, working across a roster of PA partners to develop new licensing deals in key categories (trading cards, apparel, and hardlines), manage relationships with licensees, and oversee marketing and retail strategy in support of maximizing licensed product sales.
Prior to being one of OneTeam’s founding employees, Medina led business development for the NFLPA’s commercial arm, NFL Players Inc. Medina also served on the executive board for the OneTeam Collective, the NFLPA’s athlete-driven venture accelerator, and as Vice President of Business Development for REP Worldwide, the NFLPA’s majority-owned, athlete-focused, licensing agency – both of which served as precursor businesses to OneTeam’s formation. In addition to Medina’s 16 years advocating for athlete’s commercial interests, he also spent two years at the Washington Nationals – a role that was highlighted by rolling out the first-ever digital ticketing system in North American professional sports.

Ashwin Desai
Games & Interactive
Ashwin manages business development efforts in games licensing, developing opportunities to leverage PA IP across new and existing games categories to drive new and incremental revenue. Ashwin’s 10+ years of sports and entertainment experience consist of stints in corporate business development at NBC Universal, digital licensing and digital media rights at F1, and growth strategy at 2K.

Emily Sisson
Sponsorship, Athlete & Partner Marketing
Emily manages all integrated marketing partnerships across sponsorship, partner marketing, content and athlete marketing, working to develop authentic brand partnerships leveraging PA IP to meet brand goals. Emily has spend over 15 years developing integrated marketing programs for Fortune 500 companies across a range of channels, most recently at Octagon and PGA Tour, where she managed business development efforts to build platforms for brands to drive revenue-generating programming.

Joe Brown
Venture
Joe currently manages OneTeam’s corporate development and venture arms, developing financial models for innovative new partnerships, managing and expanding OneTeam’s venture portfolio, and taking part in overall growth strategy to take group licensing to innovative new heights.
Joe is an active partner of The Venture Collective, an early stage venture business working to bridge the funding gap for underrepresented funders. Prior to OneTeam, joe served as the Director of Media Strategy and Business Development at the NFL and spent time in investment banking at J.P. Morgan.

Zack Jackson
Corporate Strategy & Growth
Zack leads the development and buildout of OneTeam’s corporate strategy and growth initiatives, leveraging opportunities to commercialize and effectively leverage PA IP through new growth vehicles within and beyond existing licensing categories. Zack has over 10 years of experience in corporate strategy and investment banking from stints at Morgan Stanley, The Raine Group, and NBC Universal, where he led corporate strategy and development.

Lisa Stokes
Athlete Relations
Lisa is a 4x Emmy award-winning executive who currently heads OneTeam’s Athlete Relations department, where the team leverages deep data and insights on thousands of athletes to develop authentic athlete marketing campaigns and projects. With over 20 years of experience in sports and entertainment, Lisa spent over a decade at ESPN, managing projects with on-air talent, agents, publicists, and professional athletes to develop leading-edge advertising and news content.

Jonas Baer-Hoffman
International Business Affairs
Jonas Baer-Hoffmann serves as Senior Vice President of Global Business Affairs and Head of OneTeam International at OneTeam Partners, where he sets the strategic direction and oversees international growth initiatives, player association relationships, and operational development.
Prior to joining OneTeam Partners, Jonas played pivotal roles at the Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) and as the General Secretary of FIFPRO, the global union for professional footballers across 70 countries. At the MLBPA, Jonas developed strategies and partnerships for international market expansion. At FIFPRO, Jonas led negotiations with major international stakeholders, across playing and working conditions, player compensation and more. Jonas also served as a VP on the board of the World Players Association, the global umbrella organization of athlete unions.
Jonas is widely recognized for his strategic foresight and commitment to advancing athlete interests globally. His contributions have been honored with accolades such as being named a Leader Under 40 by Leaders in Sport, highlighting his substantial impact on the sports industry.

Khalilah El-Amin
People & Culture
As the Head of People and Culture at OneTeam Partners, Khalilah leads the development and execution of the organization’s human capital strategy, fostering a culture rooted in belonging, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. She is responsible for implementing effective practices designed to drive sustainable results in alignment with OneTeam’s mission, values, and culture.
Khalilah brings over 20 years of experience across both the public and private sectors, spanning all facets of Human Resources, including talent acquisition, strategic human capital initiatives, organizational culture and engagement, total rewards, performance management, governance, and HR systems.
Prior to joining OneTeam, Khalilah served as Vice President of People and Culture at Team Liquid, a global professional esports organization. Previously, she held the role of Vice President of Global Human Resources at Rockley Photonics, a leader in photonics-based health monitoring and communication solutions. At Rockley, she led the HR function as the company went through a SPAC merger, transforming it into a publicly traded entity on the NYSE.
Khalilah’s approach reflects her commitment to fostering inclusive environments and developing practices that empower both individuals and teams. She is a dedicated advocate for employee well-being, organizational effectiveness, and leadership excellence.

Lauren Glaubach
IP Partnership and College
As the Head of IP Partnerships and College, Lauren is responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with current partners, identifying and fostering new IP, and leading the growth of the OneTeam college business. Lauren has spent over 20 years in media and technology, most recently as the Director and Global Head of YouTube’s Kids & Family content business, where she managed an ecosystem of creators and traditional media companies across the family entertainment space. Prior to YouTube, Lauren spent time at The Walt Disney Company/ESPN in brand management and corporate strategy roles.
